Early Life and Career
Born on August 13, 1993, in Carneys Point, New Jersey, Johnny Gaudreau is an American professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Gaudreau began playing hockey at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks, playing for the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League (USHL) before committing to Boston College.
College Career
Gaudreau had a standout college career at Boston College, where he played for the Eagles from 2011 to 2014. During his time with the Eagles, he was named a Hobey Baker Award finalist in 2014 and was also named to the All-Hockey East First Team three times.
Calgary Flames
